Growing up in the Northern rivers Byron Bay Australia area sparked John Bortolin’s keen eye for photography.

After studying at the QLD College Of Art, he moved on to freelance for various projects and has seen John Bortolin’s photography career successfully span across more three decades. During this time he’s been shooting for same sex weddings, portraits, food and landscape photography, as well as celebrity magazine shoots and VIP red carpet events.

These days John is focusing on Fine Art Male Nude photography. January 2015 John published his first Male Art Book Called Manscapes receiving worldwide acclaim. With the success of Manscapes John is currently working on a new Manscapes Book which will be a fundraiser for men’s mental health.

Aside from John’s amazing ability in capturing rare and special moments, it is his warmth and undeniable personality that allows an instant rapport with his clients and a ‘word of mouth’ demand for his work.

John’s work shows he is not only a technically exquisite photographer, but also he has a passion for his craft that transcends anyone’s expectations.

John is currently based at Byron Bay Australia, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world for photography.
